Values
Love
Our approach is loving, and not condemning of others. “God is love” (1 John 4:8). "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34).
Truth
We stand on God’s truth, and are therefore non-affirming of the LGBTQ+ lifestyle. Jesus is “the truth” (John 14:6), and the Bible is infallible. "Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth" (John 17:17).
Holiness
We believe that holiness is not optional for God's people who have been saved by the blood of Jesus and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. We call everyone in the LGBTQ+ community to repentance, salvation, and a life of holiness. “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” (Rev. 4:8) “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am holy'” (1 Pet. 1:14-16).
Humility
We must approach the LGBTQ+ community with an attitude of humility, in order for Mission Who I AM to succeed. Jesus "humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross" (Phil. 2:8). “Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble’” (1 Pet. 5:5).
