Simon learned his identity by

first correctly recognizing

Jesus's identity:

 

Jesus"said to them, 

'But who do you say that I am?'

Simon Peter replied, 'You are the Christ,

the Son of the living God.'

And Jesus answered him, 

'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! . . . 

And I tell you, you are Peter, . . .'"

(Matthew 16:15-17a, 18a)

The purpose of Mission Who I AM

is to facilitate the revelation

of identity within each individual

in the LGBTQ+ community,

as everyone personally

recognizes and experiences

Jesus Christ, God's Son.

​

By surrendering to Jesus

and believing in Him, everyone can embrace their true identity

as God's adopted sons or daughters!
